I visited my good friend Barbara Keller’s beautiful stud (Gestüt Hasenacher) in Herrliberg, just outside Zurich, Switzerland, in November 2016.
Barbara is breeding coloured warmbloods for eventing and show jumping, and her set­ up in Switzerland is out of this world. Barbara and I became acquainted a few years ago when she used our now­ deceased stallion Sambertino. Having helped Barbara source coloured horses over the years, we have gone from mere business acquaintances to good friends.
